Proprietor
As the local face of AquAid Northern Ireland, Daniel brings over a decade of experience in customer service and business management. Supporting the different family businesses since 2000, Daniel and Claire have grown up with that local NI ethos – SUPPORT LOCAL – being prioritised. Daniel will ensure every customer receives a tailored, high-quality service. When he’s not leading the team, you’ll find him chatting with customers or exploring ways to make the business more sustainable.
Office Manager
Claire is the organisational heart of AquAid Northern Ireland. From managing customer queries to coordinating schedules and keeping operations running smoothly, Claire ensures every customer receives exceptional service with a smile.
Credit Controller
Stephanie, with her fabulous hair and love for Theo (one of our office dogs), met company owner Daniel when they were both 16, studying for their A-Levels. A decade later, Stephanie applies that light touch and friendly flair when dealing with those credit accounts and missing invoices. She ensures invoicing and payments are managed professionally and efficiently.
Senior Engineer
Initially starting just before the Covid-19 crisis as a delivery driver, Gareth stuck with AquAid NI and trained under Alan to become his right hand go to. Now, Gareth runs both our warehouse on Boucher Road and is a director in our sister coffee company, Coffology Ireland. You will often find both Alan and he debating the intricacies of an installation at the end of the day, with coffees and treats in hand!
Senior Engineer
With over 20 years with AquAid NI, “Our Alan” is affectionately known as the grandfather of the company. His calm, confident and in-depth knowledge make him the go to expert for those particularly tricky installations. Having trained both Gareth and Karl, our other engineers, Alan is always on call for both, even when enjoying his favourite “chill time” – a cappuccino with chocolate sprinkles and a French Fancy bun!
Service Engineer
Initially starting as a delivery driver, Karl trained under both Alan and Gareth in a tutelage that would test the strongest. Now adept in both the installation of bottled, plumbed and boiler machines, Karl now moves into AquAid Residential. Friendly and efficient, he takes pride in ensuring our customers enjoy clean, great-tasting water. If you like board games, particularly Dungeons and Dragons, be prepared to extend you installation time by double! Failing that his interest in both Star Wars and Star Trek is impressive!
Delivery & Servicing
Not being able to escape the call to duty – David – our bookkeepers son- rose to the challenge in 2016 and now finds himself moving into full time water machine servicing after almost a decade delivering water. Skilled with delivery, route management, customer care and machine servicing, David is vital to ensuring a continuity of service as we expand.
Accounts
With the company since 2000, Debbie has suffered long and hard keeping everything ship shape while Daniel and Paul focused on customer care and company growth. Debbie manages our internal accounts with precision and care. From payroll to supplier payments, she ensures everything behind the scenes is accurate and efficient — supporting our smooth day-to-day operation.
Business Development Manager
Starting in Oct 2025, Louis’s main goal will be to accelerate business growth via networking throughout Northern Ireland. Louis will also focus on checking in with current customers regularly. As a dedicated primary point of contact for our customers, Louis will be instrumental in ensuring our high levels of customer service are maintained.
Officer
An office Cocker Spaniel, Theo Rafferty patrols the office three days a week, ensuring both our own warehouse team and everyone else involved in the operation of the business – is always 100% on their toes – with a friendly bark and chase as required 🐶.

Our gentle giant, Murphy gives a sense of calm and affection throughout the week, especially during those summer months, letting Claire, Stephanie and Debbie know all will be well. Unlike his crazy cousin – Theo – Murphy is the office pooch everyone wants when a calming demeanour required!
Delivery & Servicing
Our newest recruit since 2024, Tim has settled into our small family business culture with finesse. Tim has thrown himself into deliveries, emergency servicing, installations and training/warehouse management as needed. With more drivers incoming as we expand, Tim will be vital to ensuring a smooth operation on the delivery front!
Delivery Driver
Darren started with us in September 2025, after a long tenure delivering across Northern Ireland in another enterprise. Most of our customers know him already. He is a very welcome member of the team to AquAid NI.
